Apple’s original content efforts have been ramping up for quite some time, with more and more news breaking that the company is adding more to its catalog every week. Today, Variety has confirmed that Apple is adding yet another series to its unreleased catalog. The report says Apple has gained rights to develop a series based on Min Jin Lee’s novel, Pachinko. Soo Hugh will serve as showrunner, and will write and be executive producer for the series, with Lee also serving as an executive producer....

Though it will take Apple eight months before they release their iPhone series this year, still till now, we have seen a lot of leaks that have picked the curtains on a few details related to the cameras and two vital design details. Today, a report in is going to corroborate these details a bit more briefly. The report in is from Bloomberg and on the likes of Wall Street Journal, they also believe the new iPhone XI Max, code named ‘D43’, will have a triple-camera rear setup....

We told you in November that Apple had prototypes of an unreleased 15-inch MacBook Air floating around its Cupertino, Calif.-based headquarters. While it is in many ways similar to the 11- and 13-inch MacBook Air designs currently on the market, the prospect of a 15-inch Air left the future of Apple’s MacBook Pro lineup in question. We followed reports from iLounge in February 2011 that indicated Apple was working on a new MacBook Pro lineup for a 2012 launch described as a “milestone” for the product line....

Apple has officially inked a deal to settle a class action lawsuit in California that accused it of intentionally breaking FaceTime on older iPhone devices. According to Law360, Apple has reached an $18 million deal in the case. Through the settlement, 90% of the class action members will receive compensation, either through the mail or electronically. 3.6 million devices are said to have been affected by the update, and each class member will receive an estimated $3....

Macotakara claims that Apple is gearing up to launch a redesigned iPod nano later this year. This new iPod nano will return to the device’s old horizontal design, but will be 3/4 the height of the fifth-generation of the music player, according to the report. Additionally, the report claims that the device will gain a home button (makes sense with the current iOS-inspired user-interface) and that the design is thinner than the current model (without its backclip)....

SiriusXM is today rolling out an update to its iOS app with an updated user interface. Today’s update also brings the experience to owners of the Apple TV 4th generation and Apple TV 4K users, the company announced through a press release. In addition to being available on Apple TV, SiriusXM is also adding The Howard Stern Show to the app. Users had to previously AirPlay the show from the web to get access on their TV....

A little later than some expected, Apple has released new versions of the iWork suite of apps for iPhone and iPad with iOS 9 and iPhone 6s features. Pages, Keynote, and Numbers now all support iPad multitasking features including Split View on iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, and iPad Pro, as well as 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The iWork apps also gained new versions on the Mac with OS X El Capitan features and much more....

The Apple Watch succeeded in converting me from a smartwatch skeptic to an Apple Watch convert, but I held out on upgrading until the Series 3 came along. There were two reasons that persuaded me to upgrade – improved Siri performance and the automatic monitoring of heart-rate, my Series 0 being the only model in the line-up not to support the latter. Late on Friday, Apple announced that it would close all Apple Stores outside of Greater China until March 27th. Over the weekend, Apple added a banner to its homepage to inform customers that ‘Our retail stores are closed until March 27’. However, that message has now been changed … However, it seems Apple is bracing for the likely scenario in which it will need to extend the deadline further. Apple has pushed out updates for iMovie and GarageBand to add compatibility with OS X Yosemite and add new features for both apps. GarageBand 10.0.3 introduces a new Bass Amp Designer, tweaks to the zoom function, a new template for recording vocals, and other changes. iMovie has also been updated with a new interface that fits with the new design in Yosemite, as well as to add support for new features like the ability to create iPhone app previews for the App Store and tweaks to the adjustments bar and other changes....

With WWDC less than two weeks away now, Apple has released WWDC 2.0 for iPhone and iPad today on the App Store. The update revamps the user interface to reflect the design changes introduced with iOS 7 at last year’s WWDC conference. The update also includes a new icon to reflect the design changes: from dark purple to bright orange. The update also includes the latest schedule for this year’s conference (or as much as it will reveal) so developers attending the conference will want to download and reference it soon....

Apple will expand its support capabilities for Beats by Dre hardware products, like headphones and speakers, next week by launching web-based chat support, according to sources. Customers in need of support for their Beats devices will be able to instant message with a support representative via Apple’s support website beginning on Monday, February 23rd. In January, Apple began moving Beats phone-based support wholly in-house after still using the headphone maker’s outsourced support for most of last year....

Update: We’ve recieved reports from a number of Israeli readers who told us it is the local Apple reseller outfit iDigital that is opening a huge store. According to the Jerusalem Post Apple is looking to open a 5000 square-meter store (that’s 54K square feet! – which seems unlikely) in Jerusalem, Israel. The report claims this store will house the “Apple Digital Library,” and if anyone knows what that is feel free to let us know....

Apple will have to offer three years of warranty in Spain after the country’s Council of Ministers approved the extension of the warranty period for products sold inside Spain. There are also new regulations on keeping spare parts for products. As reported by the Spanish blog iPadizate, companies like Apple will have to offer a mandatory three years of warranty. In addition, manufacturers must have spare parts for a period of 10 years....

The Apple Events app for Apple TV has now been updated to include the details for Apple’s first event of the year. It’s showtime. As Apple is live streaming the event, watching on iOS and Mac is as simple as opening Safari and going to the Apple website. The Apple TV tvOS operating system lacks a browser however, so the Apple Events app is needed in order to watch the stream directly on the Apple TV....

Apple is warning customers that its new “Jet Black” iPhone 7 might scratch easier than other models. Apple today announced its all-new iPhone 7 lineup, and with it introduced two new black finishes— a glossy piano black finish dubbed “Jet Black” and a charcoal black color more like the old Space Gray option that it’s simply calling “Black”. The new shiny jet black finish seems to be getting the most attention as it’s the most striking visual change for the new phone, but Apple is also warning that the new finish will show scratches easier....

To help ease customers into the experience, it offers a 3 month free trial for most carriers. You may want to check in on Apple’s website to see if your carrier is supported. In the United States, that will be T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. Note that the Apple Watch does not currently support roaming, so it will only work on the network you activate it on....
