Apple today is rolling out a small update to its iMovie video editing software on the Mac. The update bumps the app to version 10.1.2 and follows an update that fixed YouTube sharing bugs and improved stability. IDC is out today with its numbers on the global sales of wearables for 2017. Without any surprise, the data shows Apple Watch on top, like we saw confirmed from other firms last month. Google is already hitting major hurdles in its quest to transform the TV industry, with major US broadcasters blocking their Web shows from being broadcast via Google TV. Apple TV+ is continuing to expand its original slate of comedies with an announcement today of a 10-episode series order for “Platonic”, with Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne in starring roles.
